Crochet Patterns by Charisse: Unique and Original Designs

Here are some of my own crochet creations.  I will later add many of the free crochet patterns along with the photos.

I have just designed a new Crochet Rose Pin.  I am very excited about these.  As you can tell from my previous photos, I have been working on new roses.  These roses are huge, and look very realistic.  I will be taking photos soon and adding them to the site!

This is a crochet rose that I designed over the weekend to use as an accent for a headband.  I will add more photos of the headbands.  I am currently designing more headbands for a new Ebook.

I think this rose will be very nice on a choker, so I am going to make some of these as well.  This is a picture of the full headband.

Here is another headband I created this weekend. It is a yellow rose.  Again, I will close up on the rose to show the variety of detail.

Here is the complete and entire headband.

I designed this skirt using single crochet.  I prefer to have garments that are very closely stitched together, especially for sweaters, shirts, skirts, and dresses. When I design a skirt, I have fallen into the habit of working my foundation chain, and not joining it together.  I work several rows until I am satisfied with the width of the waistband, and then work in rounds.  Usually, I increase as soon as I have joined the round.  When the skirt is completed, I then add the button band and buttons.  I really enjoy this method for skirts.

However, I have also added elastic waistbands for the skirts, but personally, I prefer the buttons. This is the front view of the skirt.

This is a poncho that I designed for my daughter.  I really like these ponchos that can double as skirts, I find them versatile and adorable.  I embellished this one with some little crochet hearts.

Here it is with the ruffle.

I designed this dress for my daughter while I was still pregnant.  I made the rosettes simply by working rows of single crochet then rolling and stitching.  However, I now prefer my new method of creating roses.  Here is an example of my newly designed rose on a white sweater I crocheted.

I also love to make ponchos and sweaters.  Here are a few that I made for my girls.

This is a shrug that I really had a lot of fun with.
