Help with Crochet Stitches

Once you learn how to create a foundation chain, the slip stitch, and single crochet, you will be ready to advance to more complex stitches.  Once you learn and understand the various crochet stitches, you will be amazed at the many patterns you can create by combining various stitches and following patterns.  Often, you will find that some patterns are a bit more challenging then others.  You may also discover that you are working along fine with a pattern, only to come across a stitch that you aren't familiar with.  Though most patterns will explain the different stitches used, sometimes viewing a video tutorial or illustration helps explain the various crochet stitches in more depth.  Here is a list of sites that offer great instruction for various crochet stitches.
